Starting from an existing desktop-only portal, Molina also wanted
Medicaid patients and care team members to be able to access medical
information on the go. Working on-site with the client’s development
team using agile development methodology, this app was created to solve
the most immediate needs of the user such as losing an ID card or
forgetting appointments. With an initial rollout to only a small segment
of users, clear and simple onboarding to avoid frustration was
particularly important.
